1. Who we are
This website and the sale of tickets are operated by TourCierge s. r. o., Karpatské námestie 10A, 831 06 Bratislava – Rača, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 57383898, tax ID (DIČ) 2122693199 ("we", "us"). You can reach us through our contact page.
We sell tickets for the 1-hour Seine river cruise ("the cruise"). The cruise itself is operated by Bateaux Parisiens ("the operator"), departing from Port de la Bourdonnais, Eiffel Tower, 75007 Paris. We act as an independent ticket seller; on board, the operator's own conditions of carriage and safety rules also apply.
2. Scope
These terms apply to every ticket purchase made on this website by consumers and businesses. By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read and accept them. If you buy for other people, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on their behalf and will share the boarding rules with them.
3. Tickets and ticket types
- Adult: 12 years and over.
- Child: under 12 years. Staff may ask for proof of age at boarding; a child ticket used by a person aged 12 or over is not valid.
- Each ticket is valid for one person on the date you selected.
- You can buy up to 10 tickets of each type per order.
Departure times shown on the website come from the operator's published timetable. They are indicative and may change; the operator may adjust, delay or cancel departures (for example because of weather, river levels, events or safety reasons).
4. How to order and when the contract is formed
- Choose a date and the number of adult and child tickets.
- Enter your full name and email address.
- Click "Continue to payment". You are redirected to the secure payment page of our payment provider, Stripe, where you can review the total and pay.
The contract is concluded when your payment is successfully completed. We then send your tickets and order confirmation to the email address you entered. Please check it carefully: we cannot deliver tickets to a mistyped address.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in euros (EUR) and are final prices; the total you pay is shown before you confirm the payment. There are no booking fees on top of the displayed price. Where a reduced (sale) price is shown, the crossed-out price is the price we charged before the reduction.
Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We accept the payment methods offered on the payment page (such as debit/credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay). We never see or store your full card details.
6. Delivery of tickets
Tickets are electronic. After payment you receive an email with one QR code per ticket, usually within a few minutes. If you have not received it within one hour, check your spam folder and then contact us with your name and the date of your cruise.
In the rare case that tickets for your order are no longer available at the moment of payment, we cancel the order and refund the full amount automatically to your payment method.
7. Boarding
- Show one QR code per person on your phone (or printed) at the pier.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to allow time for the security check.
- Systematic luggage checks apply and jackets/coats must be opened. Only small backpacks, handbags and computer bags are allowed; other luggage is not accepted, not even in the cloakroom.
- The operator may refuse boarding to anyone who does not follow safety instructions or behaves in a way that endangers others. In such cases no refund is due.
8. Right of withdrawal
Under EU consumer law (Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU) and the corresponding Slovak consumer protection legislation, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for leisure services provided on a specific date. You therefore cannot withdraw from your purchase once it is completed.
9. Cancellations, changes and refunds
- Tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded after purchase, and unused tickets are not refunded.
- If the operator cancels the cruise on your date, you can choose between a full refund or, where possible, a ticket for another date. Contact us to arrange this.
- Delays, changes of departure time or itinerary changes made by the operator for operational or safety reasons do not give a right to a refund if the cruise still takes place on your date.
10. Our responsibility
We are responsible for selling and delivering valid tickets. The cruise itself is provided by the operator, who is responsible for its performance and for safety on board. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to a ticket is limited to the price paid for that ticket. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Complaints
If something went wrong, contact us through our contact page with your name, cruise date and a description of the problem. We confirm receipt and resolve complaints without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days.
If you are a consumer and you are not satisfied with how we handled your complaint, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body. In Slovakia this is the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia, www.soi.sk), which also supervises our compliance with consumer protection law. You may also bring your claim before the competent court.
12. Personal data
We process your personal data only to handle your order and as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase applies to your order.
